Ranks & Promotion

The standard structure of a cadet corps is based on army company or platoon establishment. The basic cadet corps is considered to be a platoon/troop of thirty cadets.

Training for cadets is designed to produce warrant officers and senior NCO's within the corps.

NCM ranks and their appropriate insignia for Army Cadets are the same as the Regular Force (Army) and the Militia (Army Reserves).

More information on this official policy can be found in our cadet training reference guidelines.
